Six Care Racing Ferraris 550 Maranellos can be seen in competition this weekend at two of the world's most prestigious circuits.

The FIA GT Team and Constructor Champions, BMS Scuderia Italia, will be campaigning three cars in this weekend's final round of the series in Monza, Italy. Safe in the knowledge that all the Championship titles have been secured, the two practice sessions have shown today that BMS-managed cars are still leading the way for the Prancing Horse.

Fabrizio Gollin, driving car 22, was quickest in yesterday morning's session, while the Care Racing entry of Lilian Bryner, Enzo Calderari and Stefano Livio, were the quickest Ferrari on the track during the afternoon.

Qualifying takes place today and the race will be on Sunday, 19th October.

On the other side of the world in the United States, another three of Care Racing's cars are continuing with their successful campaign in the American Le Mans Series. In the season finale, the 1000 Mile or 10 Hour Petit Le Mans, Ferrari 550 Maranellos yesterday qualified in 1st, 3rd and 5th places in the GTS category - placing the team extremely well for today's race.

The Prodrive-run team has had an excellent run of success in North America, having won the last three rounds of the series. This follows on from the Veloqx Prodrive Racing entry's outstanding victory in the GTS category at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June. The Care Racing supported Ferrari 550 of Jamie Davies, Tomas Enge and Peter Kox finished the race ten laps ahead of their nearest rival, and were the first front-engined GT Ferrari to win since 1982.

Care Racing Development is the sportscar racing division of the Care Group, a privately owned international group of companies.

Formed by Frederic Dor in 2000 to undertake the development, production, sale and racing of sportscars, the objective of Care Racing Development is to provide racing teams and racing drivers who are sportscar enthusiasts with a proven car to compete in various Championships throughout the world and to be able to meet sponsors and collectors' expectations.

Care Racing's first technical partner was Prodrive who developed for racing the Ferrari 550 Maranello GTS, followed by a collaboration with BMS Scuderia Italia. Both partnerships have been highly successful on and off the track during 2003.
