August 7, 2013 (Los Angeles, Calif.) - Looking to put another notch in the win column for his 2013 American Le Mans Series season, Duncan Ende will be looking for victory at this weekend's Orion Energy Systems 245 at Road American in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin after a missed opportunity two weeks ago at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park.

Ende will partner again with Bruno Junqueira in the no. 9 RSR Racing Oreca FLM09. The duo won at Lime Rock Park, and was on the way to another win at CTMP before an electrical issue sidelined the car in pit lane for several laps. Ende has been able to put together strong runs throughout the 2013 ALMS season in the Prototype Challenge class - aside from the 12 Hours of Sebring, he has led every race this season. It's a turn of speed he hopes will continue at Road America.

"We've hit on a pretty good combination this year between RSR Racing, Bruno, and myself," said Ende. "It's exciting to be in the mix every week, leading races and being in contention for a win.

As competitive as the Prototype Challenge class is, it's a big testament to RSR Racing that the car is great at each track. Unfortunately, we've had a mechanical issue take us out of the running at CTMP, and we had a crash take us out of it at Laguna Seca, so the championship is kind of a long shot for Bruno. But, long shot or not, our goal is to win this weekend."

Looking for his second win of the season, it could come at no better place for Ende than Road America, as the four-mile circuit that ranks high on his list of favorites.

"I love Road America - but what driver doesn't?" said Ende. "It may be the best track in North America, and when you visit a track you really like you tend to have a little extra motivation. Not too long ago, I was on the Hooniverse podcast, and when they asked me what my favorite track was my immediate answer was LeMans - but my favorite track in North America is Road America. It has everything a driver wants out of a track. And, as a bonus, Bruno has won twice there in ChampCar."
