Bryan Herta, #26 XM Satellite Radio Acura:
"This is incredibly disappointing for everyone involved with the XM Satellite Radio Acura. All of these guys have worked so hard to get this car ready and it's disappointing. I'll have to look at the replay of the last incident because I arrived at the brake zone and Chris Dyson was still behind me. He must have tried to outbrake me but I never saw him and he touched me. Unfortunately it fatally damaged what was already a pretty damaged race car from my earlier get-together with Jan (Magnussen). I'm glad he's okay but I thought he was opening the door for me. This isn't the way we wanted this day to go."
Kim Green, co-owner, Andretti Green Racing:
"This is a very miserable feeling because so much effort goes into sports car races. Our guys have all worked their tails off getting ready for this race and I think the XM Satellite Radio Acura was very good today. It's arguably the second-biggest event of the season so you want to be able to run the 1,000 miles and winning your class and winning the overall race. We just have to regroup and have a good result at the final race of the season at Laguna Seca."
