WHAT: 6th annual Schnitz Racing Summer Nationals, the fourth stop on the 2000 AMA/Prostar Motorcycle Drag Racing Series national event tour.

WHERE: Rockingham Dragway, Rockingham, North Carolina. Track is located on Highway 1, between Rockingham and Southern Pines.

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21, 2000

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

FRIDAY - Pre-entry Tech & Registration 12:00pm - 5:00pm

SATURDAY - Gates Open 8:00am - Tech & Registration 8:00am - 4:00pm - E.T. Time Runs 9:00am - 1st Rd Sportsman Qualifying 10:00am - 1st Rd Pro Qualifying 12 Noon - 2nd Rd E.T. Time Runs 1:30pm - 2nd Rd Sportsman Qualifying 3:00pm - 2nd Rd Pro Qualifying 5:00pm - ET & Sportsman eliminations 6:30pm

SUNDAY - Gates Open 7:30am - No Bike Started Before 9:00am - Chapel Service 8:15am - 2nd Rd E.T. Eliminations 9:00am - 2nd Rd Sportsman Eliminations 10:00am - Opening Ceremony 11:15am - 1st Rd Pro Eliminations 11:30am

FEATURE: More than 500 racers competing in twelve categories of competition. Featuring Funnybikes, turbocharged two-wheeled rockets that run six-seconds in the quarter mile, nitrous oxide powered, Pro Mod Bikes, "factory hot rod" Pro Stock class, showroom stock the world famous streetbike shootout, and several other classes in side-by-side racing.

1999 CHAMPIONS: Bryan Bennett, Funnybike; Bill Vose, Pro Mod; Paul Gast, Pro Stock; Rickey Gadson, Superbike; Marty Ladwig, 600 SuperSport; Ryan Schnitz, Top Eliminator; Andy Baumbach, Top Gas; Bruce Sauer, Super Comp & Super Gas; Doug Emge, Pro ET

TICKETS: $20 each day or $35 both days. Juniors, ages 2-12, $5 each day. Children, ages 2 and under, free when accompanied by a paid adult. Pit pass included in general admission price. AMA Members and groups, $15 each day with membership card.
