Michel Disdier Completes 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series Season
When the checkered flag flew at the ARCA RE/MAX American 200 at Rockingham Speedway, it was not just to signal the finish of that 200-mile race but also the close of the 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series season.
For French driver Michel Disdier it was also the completion of a very satisfying year of development. "For me this was a great year, I finished every race I started and often it was on the same lap as the leaders. Most important is that I gained the confidence I need to take my racing to the next level". Considering Disdier raced at tracks this season that he had never seen and without the benefit of testing prior to the races, he did extremely well to learn the tracks as the races progressed.
2010 will be an exciting season for the Frenchman because he will no longer be a newcomer to American style racing and the experience he has earned this year will certainly catapult him to a competitive situation next year.
"I want to thank my teammates, Bowsher Motorsports and all the fans that supported me at each race. For me it goes beyond borders and I want to thank my countrymen who followed my racing and gave me support throughout the season. Lastly but sincerely I wish to thank my partners and sponsors for all their support".
