Rockingham, N.C. (October 9, 2010) -- Robb Brent, driver of the Orchard Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram -- Dodge Charger in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Re/Max and Menards, struggled with a multitude of handling issues in Saturday afternoon's American 200 at Rockingham Speedway to log a 26th-place finish.

With Rockingham Speedway being the final stop on the 2010 ARCA Racing Series schedule, Brent finished out the season 11th in the championship points.

Brent recorded the 15th-fastest time in Friday morning's sole practice. Later that afternoon, the 23-year-old ran a lap of 25.316 seconds, an average speed of 142.203 mph, to earn the 21st starting position for the American 200 presented by Black's Tire and Auto Service.

As the Shelby Township, Mich.-native started the race he quickly made his way through traffic before the first caution of the day was displayed on lap nine. Under the caution, Brent radioed to Dave Leiner, II that his Dodge was a little loose but was tolerable. Brent restarted the race in the 17th position on lap 14. Again, Brent went to work making his way through traffic even though his chassis was getting looser and looser with each lap.

The next caution was displayed on lap 50 which allowed for the lead lap cars to pit on lap 51. The Leiner-led crew made major chassis adjustments to help tighten the Dodge throughout the entire corner, as well as regular service of four fresh Hoosier Tires and Sunoco Fuel. For the first few laps after going back green, Brents Dodge Charger seemed to like the changes, but as the tires went away he made it very clear that on the next stop they needed to make more adjustments in the same direction.

With the next caution coming out on lap 75, Brent let the team know his Dodge was still very loose but he thought he could deal with it until the next caution. Unfortunately, a long green flag run saw Brent lose two laps to the leaders and then the July Pocono winner radioed into the crew to let them know he had a vibration. Brent brought his Dodge to pit road on lap 137 for fresh Hoosier Tires, Sunoco Fuel, and more adjustments. On lap 192 Brent and another competitor made contact to cause his left rear tire go flat, which forced him to bring his Dodge down pit road for left-side tires. When the checkered flag flew, Brent crossed the finish line in the 26th position.

"This isn't how we wanted to end our season," said Brent. "We came here with one mission in mind and that was to finish in the top 10 in points. Unfortunately, we weren't able to do that today with our Orchard Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram -- Dodge Charger. Our 11th place finish in the championship points defiantly doesn't do this team justice. I'm thankful for how hard our guys worked this season to provide me with solid cars throughout the year. Winning the July Pocono race was defiantly the highlight of my 2010 ARCA Racing Series season."
