Marks Strong at "The Rock", Racing For "Laps That Matter" on Saturday

Rockingham, NC (October 8, 2010) -A strong day on the track during practice was backed up by a fourth place qualifying run for Justin Marks in the No. 32 Construct Corps Dodge Charger on Friday afternoon at Rockingham Speedway. Marks, 29, came into this weekend's events at The Rock sixth in the championship point standings, looking to break into the top five after the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards season finale on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010.

The Win-Tron Racing team elected to take part in the open testing session on Thursday afternoon at the historic one mile oval and found a good setup in their Construct Corps machine. Crew Chief Mike Chaffee and his crew focused on a long run setup that would keep speed in the car for Justin on old tires, and found a setup they were confident with- enough to end their day early. The car continued to run well on Friday, keeping consistent speeds lap after lap as the tires wore down.

Though Marks turned the fourth fastest time of the qualifying session with a lap time of 24.805 seconds, he will start Saturday's American 200 presented by Black's Tire and Auto Service from the outside of the front row due to the No. 29 car moving to the rear of the field before the start.

Marks will not only be digging hard for 200 laps to go for the win to close out the season and gain as many points as possible, but he and the Win-Tron team are looking for a good finish to promote a good cause. The V Foundation, Win-Tron Racing and Justin Marks have come together for "Laps That Matter", a unique charity program benefitting The V Foundation's cancer research program. Together with Construct Corps, members of the ARCA Racing Series teams, and other fans and family members, Marks and Win-Tron have raised money leading up to the event, with a total sum being determined based on the number of laps Marks completes in the 200 mile event. 100% of the proceeds will go to The V Foundation following the race.
