Sheltra Motorsports Welcomes Larry Moore In Time For DuQuoin
WHITESVILLE, Kentucky (August 27, 2008) - - Sheltra Motorsports, a full-time competitor in the ARCA RE/MAX Series (ARS) announced today the addition of Larry Moore as Director of Competition effective immediately. Moore, a Daytona Beach, Florida resident will oversee the competition side of the team's ARCA RE/MAX Series program beginning with Monday's Labor Day tradition at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds.
Moore comes to Sheltra Motorsports after a lengthy stint with Justin Allgaier Motorsports where Moore served as crew chief. In 2008, Moore led Allgaier to two victories at Salem Speedway and Cayuga Motor Speedway respectively.
"We've very excited about the addition of Larry Moore to our team," said car owner Grace Sheltra. "With his knowledge and experience in Motorsports, we feel he can be an extreme asset to the organization."
Driver Patrick Sheltra, currently sitting 10th in ARCA RE/MAX Series championship standings is also equally excited about the addition of Moore to the Whitesville, Kentucky-based operation. "We have a great team. And with the addition of Larry Moore, it makes our organization even better and stronger. We're excited about having him on our side for the rest of the season and beyond."
