Bean/Team GLOCK to Finish the Season in Toledo

It hasn't been the season that Team GLOCK Racing had hoped for when Dexter Bean partnered with Spraker Racing Enterprises and GLOCK, Inc. for the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series, but they are planning on ending the racing season in a positive fashion during the Hantz Group 200 presented by Belle Tire and Federated Car Care on Saturday, October 11th. Dexter, along with 44 other drivers will compete in the final race on the ARCA schedule this weekend. "The team wants to end the year with a win. With all the problems that we have had this year, it would make a happy ending to a scary story," said Dexter. "Team GLOCK finished third in the spring race at Toledo but this race we want to be number one!"

If Saturday evening's main event is anything like the Toledo race in May, Team GLOCK will be in the front of the pack as the checkered flag waives in the 200 lap/100 mile race. The Toledo .5 mile paved oval is the site of Team GLOCK Racing's highest placing third finish this year. They have carried the same #008 chassis that they brought to the track in May.

Racing events will begin on Friday, October 10th with practice being held from 12:30 2pm. SIM Factory Pole Qualifying will take place at 3:30pm and the Hantz Group 200 will begin at . The race will be televised live on the SPEED Channel at 5pm EST. Team GLOCK Racing live timing and scoring of all events can also be viewed from arcaracing.com.
