Ho-Pin Tung champion Asian Le Mans Series in penultimate race
DC Racing earns the entry ticket for the most prestigious endurance race of the world, the 24 hours of Le Mans, June this year.

Buriram, Thailand, January 10. 2016 – Ho-Pin Tung and his new Chinese team ´DC Racing´ seized the championship in the Asian Le Mans Series , LMP 3 class, by winning the ´Three hours of Thailand´ at Buriram circuit, today.
Drivers David Cheng, Ho-Pin Tung and Thomas Laurent managed to bring the Ligier JSP3 home in winning position, in spite of technical woes. Already during the first stint, driven by Ho-Pin Tung, second gear failed, which meant that the rest of the race the drivers had to race intelligently and conservatively. With still one race to go DC Racing team may call itself Champion of the 2015/2016 season of the Asian Le Mans Series, LMP-3 class. With todays victory DC Racing has earned the entry ticket for the most prestigious endurance race of the world, the 24 hours of Le Mans, June this year.
Team owner David Cheng is extremely proud of the teams´performance. ´Our goal this first season was not less than to claim the championship. That we were able to achieve our ambition with a new team is just super! The driver line up with Ho-Pin and Laurent has proven to be a dream team. And the rest of the team did also a great job, with the technical support of Eurasia.´
Ho-Pin Tung adds: ´ All weekend we showed a dominant perfomance and I am very happy that we were able the hold the lead untill the finish line. This result promises more successes and I am thrilled to take part in the 24 hours of Le Mans, for the fourth time.´
Thomas Laurent is so happpy that he could hardly find the words to express his feelings. ´This is a winning formation´, the Frenchman says. ´It is fantastic to be part of such a great succes, with three pole positions and the three wins untill now and with more to come.´
