ROUNDING IT OFF AT ROAD AMERICA

Ryan Lewis rounded off the 2007 Champ Car Atlantic season yesterday with a top ten finish at Road America.

Ryan started the race from tenth place on the grid and was going great guns, making his way all the way up to fourth, but then received a drive-thru penalty for blocking Alan Sciuto. He continued on and salvaged tenth place after having to make his way through the field again.

"I had a really good car for the race, but unfortunately was unable to bring a good result to the boys," said Ryan. "I just want to thank the team; they have worked really hard and have done a great job this season."

Team owner Derrick Walker added: "We had it going there for a while, but it all fizzled away at the closing stages. Ryan had a good top three, top four potential, and we didn't manage to maximise that and end with a good result for the season, but that's racing."
