Vancouver Friday Qualifying

VANCOUVER, B.C. - Anthony Lazzaro, of Acworth, Ga., will start on the pole for Saturday's Player's Challenge for the KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Championship race at the Molson Indy Vancouver.

Lazzaro posted a time of 1:15.210 around the 1.802-mile temporary circuit to take his second straight pole position. Lazzaro's PPI/MCI teammate, Jeff Shafer of Overton, Nev., will start alongside Lazzaro on the front row with a time of 1:16.089. Player's-Forsythe driver Lee Bentham, the series points leader from Richmond Hill, Ont., will start third with a time of 1:16.205.

Saturday's round 11 of the 13-race KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Championship is scheduled to get underway at 2:30 p.m.
