Trident takes 4th in 2010 AutoGP Teams Standings

The final event of the 2010 AutoGP was rounded out today at Monza, and Trident Racing, owned by Maurizio Salvadori, secured 4th place in the final team's standings.

The two Lolas fielded by Trident Racing have been constantly running into the top-10, on the qualifications and Race Day, providing a re-confirmation of the technical value put on-track by the Italian squad.

At the end of Qualifying, Federico Leo and Julian Leal held the 7th and 10th place, and both climbed up two spots on Race 1 by finishing respectively in 5th and 8th.

Both drivers experienced an extremely tough start on Race 2, as they fell down the order. They recovered well through the whole distance. Julian and Federico fought their way up to 4th and 7th.

Luca Zerbini: "We've ended up our first season in the AutoGP Championship. The series proved really high-quality. The drivers and the teams involved are highly-professional and renowned, plus the promotion and organization has been great. We want to praise Enzo Coloni and his staff. I also want to thank our drivers, who believed in our potential, and particularly Julian Leal, who spent the whole season with us. Big thanks go to our staff, for having provided a sensational support, and given great added value to the Trident brand. Our goal will be to fight for the 2011 title".
