Avon, Ind. (August 16, 2000)The 2001 schedule for the CORR EXXON Superflo Series added Bark River this week. The signing continues the tradition of Off Road Racing in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. In fact, Bark River has asked for a second date in the 2001 schedule.

The signing of the contract came a day following the 25th Anniversary of the U.P. Off Road 100. The two days of racing generated the largest crowd ever at Bark River for a CORR event. An extensive promotion campaign yielded huge dividends for the track.

The Bark River Off Road Raceway is one of the unique tracks in the CORR circuit. It measures 1.5 miles in length, includes large jumps that carry trucks 150 feet, and corners that require precision turning.

The Bark River Lions Club and its members promote the event, and all proceeds generated from concessions go for glasses to needy children, little league baseball, the community park, playground equipment and many other great causes.

The event will be held August 11-12, 2001.
