Having once again proudly combined forces with the American Dairy Association/Dairy Council Middle Atlantic and its popular "Got Milk" campaign for the 2001 racing season, Port Royal Speedway is set to make a bold presence at the upcoming 16th annual Pennzoil Motorsports Auto Racing Trade Show. Held at the Fort Washington Expo Center on January 12th, 13th and 14th, located off Exit 26 (Fort Washington Exit, Route 309) of the PA Turnpike, Pennzoil Motorsports will mark the start of the 2001season for the Northeast and Port Royal Speedway.

Situated in isles 700 and 800 (booths 810 - 812 and 761 - 763) at the show, the speedway display will boast several sprint cars belonging to top names in the sport. On hand for the show will be the Harz Furniture No. 88 sprint car of 2000 track champion Lance Dewease along with the Middleswarth Potato Chips No. 7 of nine-time champion Keith Kauffman, the 55 of Mike Wagner and the No. 10 of Len Thompson. Drivers will be on hand Saturday and Sunday from one to three o'clock to sign autographs during a meet and greet session with the fans.

And in what will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the entire 2001 show, the speedway's portion of the Motorsports floor will be graced with nothing less than a 100 LB Butter Sculpture of a sprint car. Thanks to the conjoined efforts of the American Dairy Association and Land O'Lakes corporate headquarters in Carlisle, PA, nationally renown food sculptor Jim Victor of Conshohocken, PA will be on hand to produce the masterpiece.

Victor has been carving unique and innovative sculptures since 1980. The Pennsylvania native will create the sprint car likeness, which will carry the Harz Furniture/C n B Mushroom Farms banner of Lance Dewease, during show hours beginning on Friday.

Those attending the show will also be able to pick up their copy of the freshly released 2001 Port Royal Speedway schedule. Pennzoil Motorsports runs from 1 - 10 P.M. on Friday, 11 A.M. - 10 P.M. on Saturday and from 11 - 6 on Sunday.

Upcoming events for Port Royal Speedway's marketing team include appearances at the Dirt Trackin' Motorsports Show at the York Fairgrounds in York, PA, on January 26th, 27th and 28th. After York, the speedway will next be on hand at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Building in Harrisburg on February 16th, 17th and 18th for Motorama.

Port Royal kicks off the 2001racing season on Saturday, March 17th with an afternoon program of sprint cars and late models getting underway at 1 P.M.
