Burt Frisselle raced in Round 8 of the 2003 Barber Dodge Pro Series this past weekend at the Molson Indy Vancouver. The track is more technical than I had anticipated, and I look forward to a challenging weekend."

Qualifying Session 1
Position Qualified: 8th
Fastest Lap Time: 01:16.020

The young rookie from Hawaii executed a strong performance in Friday afternoon's qualifying session, finishing in P8. Frisselle commented, "Although I am disappointed with my finish, the car felt really good and I am confident that we will be able to improve upon our position tomorrow."

Practice Session 2
Position Finished: 9th
Fastest Lap Time: 01:15.970

Frisselle struggled with mechanical difficulties in practice on Saturday, preventing the young rookie from pushing to improve his times. "Today's practice was not as successful as I had hoped, but thankfully we have the chance to assess our problems with the car and sort them out before qualifying," Frisselle stated.

Qualifying Session 2
Position Qualified: 9th
Fastest Lap Time: 01:15.408

Frisselle drove with determination in Saturday's qualifying session, claiming P9. "Although I am disappointed with my P9 finish, I feel that I had a really strong session," the young rookie from Hawaii stated. "I put together a great lap at the end, but unfortunately made a small mistake in turn seven which ended up costing me several positions on the grid. I am confident, however, that I will have a great race tomorrow!"

Race
Position Started: 9th
Position Finished: 5th

Frisselle drove an exceptional race on Saturday, as the young rookie made his way through the tight street course from P9 to battle for P2 with Nelson Phillippe and Scott Porier. "I am extremely pleased with my performance today," Frisselle stated. "The car was set up perfectly, and I just drove it to the limit. Unfortunately, one of our front wings broke which prevented me from making the final charge to claim a podium finish. I struggled on the last few laps to hang on to a top five, and was therefore very pleased with my P5 finish. Overall, it was a great race!"
