Formula 3 Euro Series
Podium place for Rosenzweig, Vernay consolidates third place in the standings

First podium position in the Formula 3 Euro Series for Jake Rosenzweig: The American celebrated third place in Sunday's race of the ultra-competitive junior series at Zandvoort "powered by Volkswagen". On Saturday, Jean Karl Vernay, driver in Volkswagen's partner team Signature, just barely missed clinching another podium place. With fourth place on Saturday and fifth on Sunday, the Frenchman consolidated his third place in the overall classification. On Sunday, Mika Maki made a strong recovery from the back of the field, running in 14th place some of the time. In the end, he finished 19th.

British Formula 3 Championship
Wayne Boyd wins with Volkswagen Power, Ricciardo defends lead in the standings

Wayne Boyd celebrated his first victory with Volkswagen Power: The Briton won the second of the two races of the British Formula 3 Championship at Donington. The one-two win for Volkswagen's partner team T-Sport was completed by the Brazilian Adriano Buzaid finishing as the runner-up. Carlin Motorsport, which starts from the grid "powered by Volkswagen" as well, also had reason to celebrate. Daniel Ricciardo finished the first race in third place. In the second race the Australian took sixth place and thus defended his overall lead.

Porsche Carrera Cup
Volkswagen Junior Jimmy Johansson runner-up at Zandvoort

With a second-place finish, Volkswagen Junior Jimmy Johansson clinched his first podium result this season in the Porsche Carrera Cup. The Swede, who is supported by Volkswagen and competes for the Attempto Racing team, only had to admit defeat to winner Jeroen Bleekemolen in the fourth round of the season. As the runner-up of the race, Johansson improved his position in the standings from twelfth to seventh place.

Volkswagen Racing Cup Great Britain
Two victories for Didge Dziurzynski at Donington

Didge Dziurzynski celebrated as many as two victories in races nine and ten of the Volkswagen Racing Cup at Donington. In his Volkswagen Golf he relegated title defender and Cup leader Joe Fulbrook in the Bora to second and Tony Gilham in another Golf to third place in the first race. In the second race the same three drivers again mounted the podium - albeit in a different order. Behind winner Dziurzynski Tony Gilham finished second and Joe Fulbrook third this time.
