BTCC: Brands Hatch Race 2 results

Race 2 was again red flagged after a short time when PATRICK WATTS and PAUL RADISICH ended up sideways across the track at the start line. After the restart CLELAND tried to beat his previous record of the earlier race. After being parallel with one of the Volvos along the main straight he somehow (I'm not sure how it happened as I was at Druids) got it sideways at the entry to Paddock, bounced ~150 ft. across the gravel and smashed into the tire wall, jumping several feet into the air with the impact. Very lucky not to roll it.

At 20 years old and getting a works car JAMES THOMPSON is the one you should watch this season. His car let him down in the first race, but in the second he started and ended second.
