A brilliant touring car driver who raced Minis in the 1960s before winning prolifically with Ford Capris, Gordon Spice also evolved into a very fast single-seater and sports car driver. The motor and motor racing accessory business he founded went public - and thus Gordon remains one of the most influential figures in world motor sport.
