CAMS secures the future of the 2010 Australian Manufacturers Championship
Following the recent withdrawal of the Production Car Association of Australia (PCAA) from the Category Administration rights for the 2010 Australian Manufacturers Championship (AMC), CAMS has secured the remainder of the 2010 Championship after reaching agreement with the promoters of the Shannons Nationals Motor Racing Championships (CNRC) to administer the AMC for the remainder of 2010.
The CNRC will take on the role of Category Administrator for the AMC for the remainder of 2010 while CAMS will launch an "Expressions of Interest" process to assist in identifying suitable parties who are interested in securing the Category Management/Administration rights for this Championship into the future.
The Australian Manufacturers Championship is an important category within the CAMS system and ensuring it's future for the remainder of 2010 is vital to allow this category to continue to grow reach its full potential.
The next round of the 2010 Australian Manufacturers Championship will be the inaugural "Australian 6 Hour" which is a genuine Production Car endurance event which will be held at Eastern Creek Raceway on 17-18 July 2010.
