CAMS ANNOUNCES CEO RESIGNATION

It is with deep regret that the CAMS Board announces the resignation of Graham Fountain as its CEO, effective 1 April 2010.

Graham, who has filled the CEO position for close to three years, is leaving CAMS to fill another CEO position which will be announced this afternoon. This role is a significant career opportunity for Graham.

In making the announcement today CAMS President Andrew Papadopoulos said: "I would like to publically acknowledge the significant contribution Graham has made to CAMS during his tenure and on behalf of the Board wish him every success in his new role.

"I would also like to reassure the organisation that the Board has already commenced the process to recruit a new high calibre CEO as a priority and will ensure the transition is managed appropriately to maintain service delivery to the members.

"I would also like to re-emphasise that the improvements underway to our organisation through an enhanced IT system and more direct contact with key stakeholders through our sport and club development service delivery model will continue to be our focus and will be delivered."

Graham said: "My time at CAMS has been both challenging and extremely rewarding. As my first CEO appointment and in a field that was totally foreign to me and as diverse as CAMS is, I have gained a lot and grown both professionally and personally, and I thank CAMS for the opportunity it has provided me.

"I have offered the Board my services in whatever way they think I can continue to contribute to the organisation in the future, as I have been honoured to be its leader in partnership with the Board for close to three years.

"I would also like to pay tribute to the whole team at CAMS and particularly the wonderful, extremely dedicated and talented staff and thank them personally for their support to me during my tenure."

Announcements with respect to the transition arrangements will be made as developments occur.
