Another deserved victory for Marc Coma

The pilot AMV Marc Coma (KTM), winner of the 2006 and 2009 editions, has just awarded its eleventh victory in a stage of the Dakar and the fourth of this year 2010. The pilot of Avià, who had an infernal pace throughout the entire stage, connecting the towns of La Serena and Santiago, claimed a new, but not less, important victory. The 238 km of the special, joined by two liasons 112 and 236 km respectively, which fast and winding areas, has seen the pilot AMV continued to impose its own law in Dakar that is proving to be very complicated. His great power of concentration has allowed him to pursue his natural tone, with an iron hand, has spearheaded a stage which, on paper, was for smaller, more nimble bikes. Even so, the pilot AMV, who led the race from start to finish, he had no objection to demonstrate again their "savoir faire".

With today's victory, the fourth in its credit of this year 2010, achieved after 3 hours 10 minutes 43 seconds, the pilot AMV is in the seventeenth place overall. After the penalty of six hours, the race direction imposed during the rest day, the pilot has shown, at any time, not a sign of weakness, indeed, his wounded ego, and his great professionalism, is have magnified exponentially. His great determination he remains faithful, and at this stage, it becomes the best travel companion.

Behind the Spanish, the Yamaha riders David Fretigne and Portuguese Helder Rodrigues finish with a difference of two minutes and six seconds, the flamboyant winner.

Tomorrow, the pilot AMV cross the border with Argentina and will leave behind, the country of Chile. Libertadores Step located at 3,500 meters, located at the epicenter of the Andes, will become exceptional witness to one of the toughest rallies across the globe. The majestic height of Aconcagua will test the saddles of all members of the Dakar 2010.
