Norwalk, OH -- A memorial service for Top Fuel driver Wayne Bailey will be held Wednesday, October 25 at his home in Leonard, MI.
Bailey, 47, died from injuries sustained during a qualifying crash at the IHRA World Finals at Shreveport, last Friday.
The Bailey family invites friends to a memorial service celebrating Wayne's life at his home and race shop, Wednesday, October 25 at 2 p.m. The shop is located at 2720 Lake George Rd, Leonard, MI.
Take Interstate 75 North from Detroit to M-24 (Lapeer Rd.) Go north, past the Palace of Auburn Hills, 10-12 miles to the village of Oxford. Turn right (East) at Knapp's restaurant onto Burdick Road, which becomes Lakeville Road. Go 6-8 miles until you come to Lake George Rd. Turn left, go 6/10 of a mile, past Shoup, and turn left at the Waterfront Excavation sign. Take the road all the way to the back.
The family has asked that contributions for Bailey's three daughters, Harmony, Melody and Nicole be sent to Wayne's mother, Jean McNish, 978 Pinetree, Lake Orion, MI 48362.
