Holt Cat "Night Of Fire" Headlines Nitro Jam Opener In San Antonio

NORWALK, Ohio (March 13, 2007) -- Fans of the Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series can witness the thrill of the HOLT CAT "Night of Fire" during the upcoming Amalie Oil Texas Nationals presented by NAPA AUTO PARTS, March 23 -- 25.

The HOLT CAT "Night of Fire," which occurs Saturday, March 24 at 6:30 p.m. during the Texas Nationals, features the final round of professional qualifying under the lights -- including two flame-burning Nitro-fueled classes -- and the ground-pounding Bob Motz jet-powered Kenworth truck.

"The IHRA event at San Antonio Raceway works well for HOLT CAT customers and this is a very good venue for HOLT CAT to be in," HOLT CAT Machine Marketing Manager Joe Carreon said. "HOLT CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership in the United States and this will be a great place for us to showcase our products and interact with the people of San Antonio. We're looking forward to a great weekend."

"The HOLT CAT 'Night of Fire' offers a great entertainment value for fans, packaging the most exciting aspects of drag racing into a three hour show," said IHRA vice president of marketing Jim Marchyshyn. "While the entire event is a display of the world's fastest race cars, the 'Night of Fire' portion of a Nitro Jam event is truly a thrilling experience, combining the final round of qualifying for our five professional categories, including the two Nitro-classes with header flames that light up the sky, and the jet-powered Kenworth truck of Bob Motz.

Adult general admission tickets for the "Night of Fire" are $35, Juniors (2-12) $5 and kids under 2 free. Each Saturday general admission ticket provides entry not only for the "Night of Fire," but the entire day. Gates open at 9 a.m. The third round of professional qualifying is at 12 noon, with the "Night of Fire," beginning at 6:30 p.m., capping off the days festivities.
