Audi duo dominates

GT Spain: With two victories on the penultimate weekend of the Spanish GT Championship at Navarra the Portuguese drivers Cesar Campanico and João Pedro Figueiredo in their Audi R8 LMS extended their lead of the standings in the GTS category. In round two the duo from the Novadriver Total team even managed to clinch second place overall amidst the more powerful Super GT vehicles.

Audi drivers maintain title chance

GT Italy: By finishing rounds eleven and twelve of the Italian GT Championship at Vallelunga in second place Marco Bonanomi and Felipe Albuquerque maintained their title chances in the GT3 class. Before the season's finale at Monza at the end of October the Italian-Portuguese driver pairing has a nine-point gap to the front runners, with 30 championship points yet to be awarded. Their team colleagues at Audi Sport Italia, Gianluca Giraudi and Richard Antinucci, finished the first round in third place and retired in the second race.

Tough race for Audi teams

VLN: The two Audi R8 LMS cars were not very fortunate in round eight of the Endurance Championship Nurburgring. The GT3 sports car of the Phoenix Racing team driven by Frank Stippler and Marc Basseng started from position eight. But as early as on lap one of the race the car faultlessly became entangled in a collision and forced to retire. Sean Paul Breslin, Sean Patrick Breslin and Kenneth in the Audi R8 LMS of the Black Falcon Racing team finished the race that was stopped early due to numerous accidents in 16th place.
