Brazil event to be held in November 2007

The Mil Milhas Brasil integrates the Le Mans Series calendar for the first time this year, with the last race of the season. The competition, that gathers the fastest Prototypes and the more competitive GT of the world, will represent the biggest race in Latin America. A press conference took place, on last Wednesday, in the WTC Hotel. The promoter Antonio Hermann, the major of São Paulo, Gilberto Kassab, the president of the SP Turis, Caio Luiz de Carvalho, the president of the Sight Momentum, Julio Anguita, and the president of the Brazilian Confederation of Motorsport (CBA), Paulo Scaglione, presented the details of the race which will take place on November 10th, in the Interlagos Circuit.

"The São Paulo major support is very important for us. The event has everything to grow and please the fans. Our objective is to surpass the car races fans and to conquer all the São Paulo's citizens", said Antonio Hermann.

The Mil Milhas Brasil will also improve the tourism in São Paulo. Between drivers, teams, journalists and fans 1,200 people of the exterior are waited.

"We only can enjoy, because the city will receive a great sport event - one of the greatest from motorsport around the world. The city knows, as some metropolis in the planet, how to receive and to enjoy an event like this", said the major from São Paulo Gilberto Kassab.

To entertain the fans, the organizers of the race will create parallel events. A Village with 5 000 m" will be built, it will gather areas of gastronomy, store, showrooms, games and entertainment, between two great shows, in the starting and in the ending of the event.
