JOTA stripped of Paul Ricard victory
A post-race penalty for Filipe Albuquerque exceeding the allocated driving time has dropped original race winner JOTA Sport to third place.
The penalty was announced on Sunday evening and said that Albuquerque went over the stipulated 90 minutes cockpit time by 1m57s.
This infringed article 80.2 of the 2015 ELMS Sporting Regulations.
The subsequent 45-second retrospective penalty shuffled JOTA down to third place in the amended results and means that its initial 18-point advantage in the standings is reduced to just a single point.
Greaves Motorsport was promoted to winners of the 4 Hours of Le Castellet, while the No.21 AF Racing BR01 LMP2 car finished second.
