Courage Competition confident for a good result

After a magnificent 73rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the LMES season takes over with the second race on the mythical Monza track in Italy on the 9th 10th July.

Courage Competition enters a C60-H Judd Advan LMP1 in this very open and passionate race. The drivers of the car will be Christian Vann and Alexander Frei who both finished 8th in the 24 Hours. The lead driver will be a known new face. Jean-Marc Gounon the former works driver.

Yves Courage : "Everything went really fast. Jean-Marc called us to drive for our team as we were just talking about our driver line up for this race. It is a good thing to have him back on board for this race as he knows our cars very well. He will be able to give us precise feedback which will be beneficial for our tire partner, The Yokohama Rubber Company, Ltd. I also think that Christian and Alexander will enter a very fruitful 2nd part of the season after their 8th place at Le Mans and will have a convincing result this weekend."

Courage Competition will also be present with their track assistance department for the C65 clients in the LMP2 class. Most of them will hope for better luck than they have encountered in Le Mans. Paul Belmondo Racing, present with two cars, was close to victory several times and hopes that it will happen this weekend. Noel del Bello, also with 2 cars, is looking to repeat or improve on the 2 place they have earned at Spa. Finally Kruse with the Judd engined C65 should also be in front after their strong start in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
