The Red Bull Ring racetrack, which is located in Spielberg, a small town in East Austria, is 4.326 kms long and includes 9 corners (7 on the left and 2 on the right). The track is set in a greeny rolling scenery and is a nice mix of straight lines - with 3 long ones- and fast corners after getting redesigned in the early years of the 21st century by German architect Hermann Tilke. This very same track was formerly used by Formula 1 under various configurations up to the middle of the last decade and Red Bull Ring also named Osterreichring and A1 Ring will welcome a highly competitive level grid in LMP2 and GT for a 3 hours long race on Saturday since no fewer than 29 cars are announced on the entry list.

Benoit Morand – Team Manager « There we are back to our main 2013 program after our crazy week in Le Mans where we finished 5th in LMP2 category and also got the satisfaction of being the best team of the non official ELMS ranking in La Sarthe. We have been waiting for this podium in Imola and our goal this weekend will be the same: be in front, show our colors, collect as many points as can be done and get back to the top of team ranking. We still rely on our technical package that is most dependable and trustworthy and the job performed by Onroak, Judd and Dunlop is truly amazing, something we are tremendously happy of.»

The race on Saturday will be broadcast live on Motors TV, on Radio Le Mans and online on the official website of the championship. A 60 minute long summary will also be available on TV worldwide, meaning the colors of Morand Racing will be seen all over the world from Thailand to the Maldives or South America.
