In leading place at Silverstone
The QUIFEL-ASM Team took the Lola B05/40 AER to the front in training in the LMP2 class, ending the second free training session in third place in the class and 11th overall.
The second trainng session at Silverstone saw rain, which allowed the Quifel-ASM Team to test its new Dunlop wet weather tyres and note their high effectiveness. Whilst on the track Oliver Pla rode right behind the the Peugeot drivers.
Miguel Pais do Amaral and Olivier Pla used the morning dry weather session to tune the Lola B05/40 AER and adapt the car to the fast English track.
Oliver Pla is racing on this track for the first time behind the wheel of the Lola B05/40 AER, but the partnership with Miguel Pais do Amaral has proven to be effective over the championship.
Qualification is scheduled for tomorrow, after morning training sessions, to decide the starting grid for the race on Sunday at 11 am.
The Silverstone 1000 Km will be broadcast live on Eurosport, with direct coverage of the race.
