Already the free practise sessions have shown, that the laced package from Leipert Motorsport - the drivers Isaac Tutumlu Lopez (ESP), Jeroen Mul (NED), Yoshiharu Mori (JPN), Oliver Webb (ENG) and Jan Stovicek (CZE) with the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 - had bearing fruits.

In the qualifying the team and their strong drivers sets the first mark with the Pole position in the A6-Am class for GT3 cars.

During the 24h race the Lamborghini was running absolutely smoothly and the teams just did stops to refuel, driver- and tire change.

During the first half of the race the drivers remained within sight of the leading group without taking too many risks during this endurance marathon.

Overnight, the distances of the GT3 cars became closer. Therefore team and drivers had decided to let the pilots only drive double stints, to save time at the pit stopps.

This decision was perfect - as been shown by the result: 2nd place in the class A6-AM with only 44 seconds behind the leader - 8th place in the overall standings of 77 cars.

Team manager Ingo Leipert: "The summary of the 24h race: The Lamborghini was able to beat the strong quantity of Ferrari, Porsche and Mercedes SLS during the 586 laps of the race. But without the great team ability of the drivers Isaac Tutumlu, Jeroen Mul, Yoshi Mori, Oliver Webb and Jan Stovicek as well as the staff from rhino's Leipert Motorsport we couldn't reach this exciting result.

Great to see when the human aspect fits snugly together and the technique of the Lamborghini also works perfectly. These are really positiv preconditions for the upcoming season 2014 and we look forward to a great year where we plan to compete in the Blancpain GT Sprint and Endurance Series as well as again in the International GT Open and Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe."
