Second position for Kenneth Heyer in the Endurance Cup in Zolder, Belgium!

Kenneth Heyer, Germany, once again had a podium finish in Zolder in a Porsche Turbo. Second position in class, sixth overall, was a happy ending at the Dunlop Sport Max Endurance Cup.

After a great debut for the Belgium AD team at the 24 hour race, Kenneth started again for the Team in a 560 hp Porsche Biturbo together with young talented driver Nils Langrange, Belgium!

During Saturday qualifying, the team was a long time on pole position. Unfortunately, the allowed noise level of 105 DB was slightly exceeded by the Porsche, therefore practice was ended early. Only P 9 was the resulting starting position.

The race started well by leading the first hour. After the pitstop the Porsche would not start, valuable time was lost before the problem could be resolved, dropping them back to the tenth position. The duo drove back to sixth position overall, and second in class, during a race, which was plagued by several accidents and safety car periods.

Kenneth Heyer : "Nils Lagrange is only 18 Years old, but drove a great race. Without the problem during the pitstop, we would have finished 6 seconds ahead in P1 overall ! Unfortunately, it was not meant to be, but we still had a great podium finish, and something to celebrate"!
