When he was eight, Hunter Yeany had an atypical answer to that typical childhood question: What do you want to be when you grow up? Ever since he watched Pixar’s 2006 animated film Cars, the Virginia Beach native with the shaggy brown hair wanted to be a race car driver. The 2011 sequel movie Cars 2 featured a Formula 1 vehicle as a new hero and Yeany was smitten.
