Battle of the Titans between Ktm and Husqvarna in the International Supermotard.

Alex Zanardi on the Euro The Watch Arena circuit (Area 48). The driver from Castelmaggiore will be back to battle it out in the "Champions' Kart Race" on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December at the Bologna Motor Show. His opponents will include, amongst others, Stefano Modena and Troy Corser. For Zanardi it will be another driving experience and for the public it will be an opportunity to welcome and admire the champion on home ground. The final weekend of the exhibition will feature twice World Rally Champion, Marcus Gronholm, who will be the absolute star of the Bettega International - Beta Utensili Trophy, the highly acclaimed, one and only indoor rally that will be held in the Euro _ The Sport Watch Arena (area 48).

The paths of the 2002 world champion and the queen of rallies have finally crossed. The 34 year-old Espoo driver, obviously the favourite, behind the wheel of the Peugeot 206 Wrc, the vehicle that has won the World Manufacturers' title three years in a row.

He will be up against Italian drivers with the calibre of Renato Travaglia, Peugeot 206 WRC, 2002 Italian and European Champion, Andrea Navarra, the winner of this year's Terra Rally Challenge and Luca Cantamessa, winning revelation of the Memorial Bettega 2001 and behind the wheel of the Subaru Italia's second Subaru Impreza WRC. However, the fight for victory will also include other heavy-footed champions such as Norwegian Petter Solberg, revelation of the 2002 World Championship season, in an official Prodrive Subaru Impreza WRC, Belgian Bruno Thiry, Peugeot 206 WRC, and the Czech driver Roman Kresta, who has already won in Bologna with his Skoda Wrc. The International Supermoto will be an authentic opportunity for revenge for the International Supermoto, which became a world series this year. In fact almost all the world's top drivers will be taking part. The official Ktm team, with Jurgen Kuenzel and Klaus Kinigadner, and the Husqvarna team, with Eddy Seel and William Rubio will be out in force. Then there's the Italian team Vertemati, which with Gerard Delepine, has its sights set on the third place in the world championship.
