Third and last day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit, in southern Spain.
Once again today on track were Luca Badoer and Michael Schumacher. The Scuderia's official test driver worked on development of new components aimed at next season, covering a total of 76 laps; the quickest in a time of 1:17.241. Michael continued on evaluating Bridgestone tyres for the Brazilian Grand Prix; as well as finding the best set-up for the 248 F1.
Michael covered 104 laps in total, the fastest in 1:15.684 which is the best time recorded by a 2006-season single-seater over this track, and is just a few hundredths of a second off the record of 1:15.629 he set on the 30th of September 2004.
The shake down of the cars the Scuderia will be taking to Brazil will be carried out by Luca Badoer at Fiorano on Monday, the 16th of October.
