Hamilton has scored points for 28 races in a row now, counting from the 2016 Japanese GP. He takes over the baton from Kimi Raikkonen, who held the record for five years.
Here at Motorsport.com, we've compiled a list of 25 longest points-scoring streaks in F1. However, keep in mind that between 2003-2009, only the first eight runners were awarded points. Similarly, between 1960-2002, points were handed to those who finished inside the top six only.
