The McLaren MCL32 with flo-viz applied to ascertain whether the new bargeboard configuration is providing the same performance in the real world as it did in CFD and the wind tunnel. The new pre-bargeboard added for Malaysia is arrowed.
Ferrari intake detail
Ferrari has bonded two new inlets to the side of the airbox in Malaysia, similar to what we've seen the likes of Mercedes and Lotus do in the past. This increases cooling capacity for ancillary coolers such as the gearbox and ERS.

Scuderia Toro Rosso STR12 nosecones
Toro Rosso arrived in Malaysia with a package of upgrades for the STR12, chasing a strong finish to its season. The nose of the car has been reshaped to help incorporate the longer and more complex front wing pillars (white arrows), which is allied to changes made to the front wing. These changes include the separation of the main cascade's outer endplate into two surfaces (red arrows), the introduction of an endplate canard (yellow arrow), a revised shaping to the endplate, which includes the removal of the trailing edge notch (green arrow) and a total revision of the mainplane's shape, including the position and shape of the arch (highlighted in yellow).

Force India has arrived in Malaysia with a revised diffuser. The outer sections now resemble the layout used by Red Bull, with a curved outer wall punctuated by several serrations. Meanwhile, the central ramped section has been compacted. Both will have a substantial effect on the airflow's behaviour.
