Vettel: “Ba ba ba bum ba ba ba ba bum ba ba ba bum. Yes! Phowoah! Grazie ragazzi. Woo hoo hoo. Che giro. Grazie.”
Team: “Ah, simply mate
Team: “Copy copy Lewis box box.”
Team “Not sure, Lewis.”
Team “Fernando, mate we’re still trying. Concentrate.”
Team: “Seb, stay focused please.”
Vettel “ I am focused. Don’t worry.”
Verstappen: “Alright, son. I will take it easy”
*A little later*
Team OK, so that was the same laptime as the previous lap, Max.”
Verstappen “Yeah, I’m really sorry!” *laughs*
Team: “29 seconds to Vettel. Vettel on ultra-soft.”
Hamilton: “How am I further away?”
Team: “Vettel currently P7. His best-case scenario is P4. That’s not enough for him.”
Vettel: “Ah mamma mia. That’s a little bit too much.“
Horner: Well done, Max. that was fantastic. Couldn’t you go any slower?”
Verstappen: “Yeah, I’m so sorry mate. I was cruising ha ha. I was about to cut the track, you know, just for fun. Maybe I get a five second penalty then it gets a bit more interesting.”
Wolff: “Not the race we wanted, but who cares! Congratulations, 4-times world champions.” Lauda: “Thank you, thank you, thank you, four time thank you!” Hamilton: “I’d like to say a big thanks to everyone in the team. What you’ve done in the past couple of years is just remarkable and I’m so grateful for all your hard work this year. God bless you.” Neymar: “Hey Lewis it’s Neymar. I’m happy for you bro for the championship. Winning!”
