The Maserati Trofeo was one of the main attractions on the final day of the Ferrari Racing Days event, taking place this weekend at the Nurburgring circuit.

Sunday morning, Luca Badoer took the Trofeo onto the Nordschleife as a course car to around forty historic Maseratis and Ferraris, as they ran a couple of laps of the "Old" Nurburgring, prior to the Shell Historic Ferrari-Maserati Challenge races. "It was an enjoyable day and it is incredible to think that Grands Prix were once held on this track," said Badoer at the end of the two laps. "I now know the Trofeo well having tested it over the past few weeks and it was fun to drive it here. I am sure that the gentlemen drivers who will try it will also enjoy the experience."

Schumacher then continued the on-track demonstration, doing three laps with a Ferrari Enzo. As he returned to the pits, this is what Michael had to say: "I have been involved in the development of the Enzo, trying to bring some input from my Formula 1 experience. The car has character and a lot of power. When you hit the throttle you realise what it can do. Driving it on this circuit is incredible, but it is also perfectly adapted for normal road use on a daily basis."

Schumacher's day at the Nurburgring ended with a demonstration at the wheel of the F2001, which the German driver used to win his fourth world championship last year. After completing his laps, Michael waited on the track, to be part of a group photo with the Enzo and the Trofeo in front of the packed grandstands.
