Red Bull will trial a very low downforce option for Spa, devoid of endplate louvres, such is the low angle of attack that the wing is run at. We may see this selection usurped by something with a little bite behind it during the weekend, if it doesn’t provide the necessary balance in the circuit’s more tricky second sector.

Red Bull also arrived with a revamped mirror assembly for Spa, taking on the two-piece design style we’ve seen used by Ferrari all season and subsequently copied by Toro Rosso at Silverstone.

As we can see from this side on shot of the mirror, the outer housing has been stripped back to encourage the airflow to move around the structure in a very specific way.
