Lewis Hamilton – 10

Set-up experiments meant Hamilton finished FP2 a low-key sixth and was in danger of starting there had the weather been any more severe in qualifying. But in the end the rain meant he could show his absolute class – with his whopping 1.216s pole margin demonstrating his superiority. Was near-faultless in the race, beyond one Turn 3 slip, and never looked like losing.
