Hamilton described qualifying as one of his worst as he struggled to string the perfect lap together - aborting his second Q3 attempt. But by dispatching Leclerc and, with a brilliant move around the outside of the fast Turn 8, Vettel on the opening lap he transformed his race and converted third into second place.
