Force India and Gaurav Gill will raise the Indian flag across Asia this weekend, while plenty of races are scheduled within the country as well. Here’s the full list.

India’s only F1 team, Force India, is optimistic of another strong show in this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix.

The Marina Bay Circuit is in stark contrast to the purpose-built Spa-Francorchamps and Monza tracks that hosted the previous two rounds of the championship. Instead of low downforce and higher top speed, the Singapore circuit demands good corner stability and maximum downforce.

Since Force India’s VJM10 car has already proved its credentials as an all-rounder, one can expect both Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon to finish in the points.

After finishing runner-up to teammate Ole Christian Veiby in Australia and Malaysia, India’s top rallyist, Gaurav Gill, will be aiming to bounce back in the upcoming round of the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship in Japan.

Rally Hokkaido features some fast but narrow stages and includes some blind corners. Rain is expected on Friday which could further spice up things.

Gill’s past experience of rallying in Japan could prove useful over chief rival Veiby, especially because no test is scheduled in the run-up to the event. The 35-year-old will be hoping that this crucial advantage will allow him to wipe out the 10 point deficit to the Norwegian in the standings.

The final round of the National Racing Championship will take place in Chennai this weekend.

In the MRF F1600, with a 44.5-point advantage in hand, Anindith Reddy heads to the season finale as the clear favourite for the title.

Sandeep Kumar is second in the standings and is closely followed by Chetan Korada. With Reddy ineligible for the Road to Indy Shootout in the US, it will be a two-horse race between Sandeep and Korada for a shot at winning a free scholarship to the US F2000 series.

The inaugural season of Volkswagen's Ameo Cup will conclude at Chennai’s Madras Motor Race Track this weekend.

Delhi’s Karminder Singh has a healthy advantage in the title fight, but has lost several VW titles in the final round in recent years.

Should Karminder suffer from poor luck or makes an unusual mistake, Dhruv Mohite, Sandeep Kumar and Saurav Bandyopadhyay would be waiting to pounce on the opportunity.
