Legendary F1 technical illustrator Giorgio Piola has been prowling the pit lane for 50 years and more than 800 grands prix, but there is still one of his famous drawings he looks back at as the most important. In this video Giorgio explains the painstaking process he went through to produce his heavily detailed illustration of the Lotus 72, resulting in a work of art two metres in length that took 45 days to produce!
