Draco in the lead in Barcelona. Pole position for Bertrand Baguette in the collective test. Barba 4th. Great expectations for the last round of the season
The spanish weekend starts in a very good way for Draco Team, constantly in the top positions with both drivers in the 2 sessions of collective test. With a mild climate and the sky covered only by a few clouds, drivers were able to run fast and test the car in view of the 2 final races. The Draco's Dallara were very fast, ready for the last challenge. During the first session this morning, Bertrand Baguette made a fast lap of 1:35:157 winning the third place, just two tenths from his teammate Marco Barba, fourth at the end of 45 minutes of collective test, with 1:35:367.
After a few hours of break, where engineers were able to examine the total and partial time with drivers, the second and final colletive test began in Catalunya circuit. The Draco was unattainable and Baguette, with a best time of 1:33:649, had no rivals. With a driver in pole and the other in 4th place (Marco Barba has made a time of 1:34:136 despite a small contact with Aleshin), the team concludes the day's test and it goes to the qualifying, which will begin tomorrow morning at 9:45.
