MSC Crociere, the largest company operating in the cruise industry with entirely European capital, enters in the motoring world through the fresh collaboration with Draco Team.
High quality, continuous improvement, attention to detail and the pursuit of perfection are the values that bind the two large companies in a winning partnership.
MSC Crociere, based in Naples, is the largest all-Italian financed cruise company. With its entirely European-owned capital, MSC Crociere has succeeded in becoming a leader in the Mediterranean cruise market in only a few years. The distinct quality of Italian service on board has become the Company's trademark worldwide. MSC Crociere has offices in the major Italian port cities plus a further 36 offices worldwide. An all-Italian style has always been the distinguishing feature of the MSC Crociere fleet, in terms of hospitality, furnishings, design, cuisine, atmosphere and a careful eye to its guests.
Today, thanks to an ambitious fleet expansion plan, MSC Crociere has the most modern cruise ships fleet in the world (the average of the vessels is 5 years).
MSC Crociere has experienced unprecedented growth. It operates a fleet of 9 ships (800.000 passengers carried by the end of 2008) presently and has another five ships already under construction: MSC Fantasia, MSC Splendida, MSC Magnifica, MSC Meraviglia and MSC Favolosa. By 2012, the Company will operate a total fleet of 14 ships, thereby reaching its objective of over 1,4 million guests carried.
MSC Crociere is committed to safeguarding the environment. MSC Crociere was the first company operating in the cruise sector to obtain important quality certifications (such as Bureau Veritas and ISO) and it has always been involved in many initiatives based on respect for the sea, such as the "Venice Blue Flag" for the control of emissions from the transit of ships in the Venetian lagoon.
