Monza: a weekend to forget for Bertrand Baguette. Good start for the rookie Marco Barba
Great disappointment for Bertrand Baguette, the Belgian Driver of the Team Draco that, after the unfortunate break of Race 1, he hoped to take revenge in a good race in Sunday. Instead, after a good start from the seventh position, just a few curves from initial straight, Baguette has crashed with Fabio Carbone, the driver of Ultimate / Segnature, finishing out of the track. Certainly the races are in this way, just a moment and we can find in the wrong place at the wrong time. But the fate has pulled a bad joke in this first weekend of championship to the young driver, recently appointed by the Royal Automobile Club official representative of Belgium in motor sport, that despite the good starts and the perfect car, he could not bring precious points at home.
The race of Marco Barba was very good and the Spanish declares that he is satisfied for the performance. Started in the ninth row, Barba has successfully recovered several positions, then he overtakings Duran at the tenth laps and he has finished his race 8 gaining 3 points for the championship.
Among a week the team will again be committed for two very important races in the circuit of Spa in Belgium, where Bertrand can recover the smile with excellent results in his circuit's house.
Bertrand Baguette, Draco Driver:
"I am very sad. For me, unfortunately, it was a negative start of the season, while I could achieve good results and gain many points. Yesterday the break, today the incident immediately to the first lap. I would not have noticed Carbone and in a moment I found out the track and I understood immediately that my race was compromised. Now there will be Spa where I hope and I believe that I can bring home good results. "
Marco Barba, Draco Driver:
"It was a beautiful race today, I made a good start and I finished in the top ten, after several overtaking and some out of track of drivers before me. My guide was steady and fairly precise. I focus myself especially at the qualifyng where I feel particularly strong and I will do so in the next races in Belgium."
