Bertrand Baguette is now officially the 2009 Champion World Series by Renault 3.5!
8 podiums, 3 first places, 4 times second and a number of good positions which have earned so many points to be the undisputed leader already in the mid-season. An exciting season for the Belgian Driver of Draco who has been able to find a perfect feeling with the Team, going straight to the final victory.
Yesterday, in Race 1, Bertrand wanted to give his many fans, arrived from Belgium, the thrill of the podium, climbing the top step and winning 12 points that have pushed him even further in the standings. Today, he started seventh and it was enough to maintain the position to graduate champion. Baguette has crossed the line 5th and at the box a large banner that said "Bertrand Baguette The Champion" has opened in his honor. In front of the box Draco, with the team, his family, supporters and a flood of fans, Baguette raised his arms to heaven: "We did it!"
