Big expectations in Nurbugring: Draco Drivers in good form in the 2 days of collective test
Two days of collective test for Draco Drivers in the circuit of Nurburgring in Germany. Four rounds divided between morning and afternoon of Thursday 28 and Friday 29 August, waiting for the Qualifying of Saturday to decide the starting grid for Race 1.
Draco Drivers have been showed immediately a perfect form in Germany, after the long pause of the World Series Championship in which they were engaged in a careful training, aimed at continual improvement of performance.
The morning of Thursday it has served to set-up of cars, Marco Barba, a rookie in this circuit, he is not going to the track for a electric problem at th e engine. In the afternoon, however, the Spanish, even if he had never drive at Nurburgring, he won the 7th position on 25 drivers on track with a time of 1'45 "593. Great satisfaction for Bertrand Baguette that, with an excellent 1'45" 381, marked the 2o. time in the classification.
Same programme for the day of Friday. In the morning both drivers have made 17 laps with very good results in spite of collective tests not to push at most, given that the real results will come saturday with qualifying and race. The best laps are very competitive for both Draco drivers, with a 4o. time for Baguette with 1'46 "003 and a 10 o. time for Barba with 1'46" 397.
In the afternoon, a still great performance by the Belgian driver Baguette, 3 o. with 1'45 "855. Barba, 17 o. with 1'46" 524, he is satisfied for his first laps in the German track and he aspires to Superpole.
The Qualifying are scheduled for saturday morning at 9:30 divided into 2 rounds, which will be selected drivers who can participate of the Super Pole at 11:00 and at 14:20 the start of the first race of the German weekend.
