After having completed a sensational debut taking the teams runner-up position in the 2010 World Series Renault 3.5, ISR Racing is proud to announce its driver line-up for 2011. The team, owned and directed by Igor Salaquarda, will run Daniel Ricciardo and Dean Stoneman. The Australian Ricciardo, born on July 1, 1989, won the 2nd place in the 2010 World Series Renault 3.5. Part of Red Bull's Junior Program, he is also the official third driver for the Toro Rosso Formula 1 team through the year. His team mate will be the British Dean Stoneman, born on July 24, 1990, winner of the FIA Formula 2 title last season, who made his Formula 1 debut on the Williams Formula 1 car last November. With such experienced and winning racers, the Czech squad is expected to be one of the team to beat, hopefully improving its record of six races won and five poles in 2010 with Esteban Guerrieri and Filip Salaquarda.
Igor Salaquarda - Team Principal
"Thanks to the great job done last season by our team and by the drivers Guerrieri and
Salaquarda, we have been able plan our 2011 with a lot of confidence. The victories we
scored in 2010 despite being at our debut in the World Series Renault 3.5 have attracted
strong attention between many top drivers. Being able to work with Daniel Ricciardo, who was
one of our most appreciated rivals in 2010, and Dean Stoneman, who won the last FIA F2 title,
will be extremely challenging for us. We will also be wearing the same Red Bull colors of the
2010 Formula One World Champions, and that makes me really proud, as we are the first
team from Eastern Europe to have reached the top in International open-wheel racing. We are
eager to be back on-track for the first collective test of the season, set for March 8 and 9 at the
Motorland Aragon track in Alcaniz."
